We’re proud to be a founding partner of the Active Uniform Alliance (AUA) and the Made to Move campaign.
We are calling for every UK primary school to adopt a uniform that enables children to move, play and learn all day.
Many primary school uniforms are not fit for a modern childhood, adopting an outdated formal office workplace approach which limits levels of physical activity, especially for girls.
It is time to introduce ‘always-active uniforms’ in primary schools that encourage full physical activity, are comfortable, and meet the needs of children. It is time for UK Primary schools to choose activity above formality and dress children to play, move and learn as much as possible.
Dressing children for an active childhood will help them concentrate better, and move more, making them happier and healthier.
