Enriching Play
National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh
Enriching Play is a highly inter-active and playful conference for everyone working with children aged 5-12 years in settings such as out of school care, playschemes and junior youth clubs. The day includes a keynote from Theresa Casey (President of the International Play Association) on enriching your environment, a play centred tour of the Museum and how to use NMS as a rich resource for groups, plus a choice of participative workshops with lots of ideas and activities to use with your group. Enriching Play only costs £20 for those working in play settings in Edinburgh (£30 for others).

Nature Play

Claire Warden of Mindstretchers is the guest speaker at this year's Nature Play Conference which offers a mix of the latest thinking on Outdoor Play and Active Learning, a choice of highly participative outdoor workshops, and a great networking opportunity for everyone planning to get children aged 3 to 5+ outdoors. The workshops will be held in the woods, by the river and on the beach so come prepared for an invigorating day in the great outdoors! Nature Play only costs £15, for those working with Early Years and early Primary aged children in Edinburgh (£25 for others).
